With over 70 years of industry experience, Graymont has developed strong corporate principles, but its physical environment lacked a particular energy. The Company’s existing design and layout were insufficiently utilized and needed to be restructured to provide better space utilization and increased amenities. Working together with Aura, they were able to take their head office to the next level, creating a flexible, connected, and welcoming workspace that is highly optimized for hybrid work.

Designing for the Hybrid Work Environment

With personal choice, flexibility, connection, and the necessary technological systems in place to facilitate hybrid work, Graymont is providing a meaningful employee experience that encourages staff back to the office. The new office is a direct reflection of who they are. The design is refined and modern, featuring minerality, soft angles, straight lines, and a west coast feel. The flexible layout allows for various workspaces, including offices, open workstations, meeting rooms, phone booths, and a large boardroom. The design also includes a variety of social spaces, including a lunchroom and a conference center, to encourage informal interactions among employees.
