Burnaby-based clean energy company General Fusion has been in the process of making history in their efforts to establish commercially-feasible fusion power for a zero-emission future. With such a cutting-edge goal and long-term outlook, General Fusion’s challenge was to establish their small office as the headquarters of a revolutionary business.
Making a big space from a small one
Sleek minimalism was the order of the day, with simple, clean lines converging on eye-catching focal points and judicious use of bold colours in select spaces. With these design decisions giving the illusion of a much more spacious area, all that was left to do was add in a quirky characteristic touch or two, particularly in the form of light fixtures that resembled gleaming star clusters. A tight deadline spurred by General Fusion’s upcoming TED Talk presentation proved to be no hindrance, as Aura met it with time to spare.
